Candle Care

1. Before lighting candles

Before lighting the candle each time, trim the candle core to expose about 0.5cm, which is the most appropriate. Twist the candle core tightly with your fingers to make the candle burn evenly, which can effectively avoid the problem of long candle core and black smoke caused by slit.

2. Light a candle

We recommend avoiding exposing the flame to moving air such as open windows, air conditioning units, heaters, or high-traffic areas - this causes the flame to be disrupted leaving soot and stains on the vessel.

It is always advised to burn your candle away from anything highly flammable. Never leave a burning candle unattended and make sure the flame is completely out before leaving the room. Always let your candle cool after burning and never move your candle while it is lit or the vessel is still hot.

3. Put out a candle

Do not blow out the candle at will, which is easy to cause black smoke and peculiar smell. Select professional tools to avoid the appearance of black smoke. If the candle wick is skewed, you can also use tools to correct it in time.

4. Candle tool

Candle-extinguishing device: candle-extinguishing device is divided into two types: candle-extinguishing hook and candle-extinguishing cover. The front end of the candle-extinguishing hook has a 90-degree angle hook design, which can immerse the candle core in the wax liquid to extinguish the candle.

Candle wick shears: In order to avoid black smoke during combustion, it is necessary to maintain the candle wick length at about 8 mm. The professional candle wick shears are designed with obtuse angle at the front end, which can be easily inserted into the cup to cut the candle wick.

Dust cover: cover the candle when not in use to prevent dust in the air and reduce the loss of fragrance.

5. Candle storage

It should be stored in a cool, dark and dry place, away from combustible and high-temperature objects. Excessive temperature or sunlight will cause the surface of the candle to melt.
